Course Description:

This module will provide knowledge in the fields of ethics in public administration. In addition, the module is intending to help public managers develop their ability to respond creatively to challenges that arise in the work environment.

Course Objectives

The main objectives of the course are:

  1. To provide an understanding of the philosophical and social scientific theories of ethics
  2. To explore the ethical issues that the practice of public administration raises
  3. To examine how people make ethical decisions and how public sector ethics can be improved
