Module Description

Security Analysis is a module which will look at professional investment management processes as well as a thorough analysis of security valuation techniques that will lead to wise investment decisions. Students will also continue with the analysis of Capital Market Expectations and look at investment processes using security valuation approaches.
 

Module Aim
This module aims at equipping students with skills of valuating security techniques contrasting Behavioral Finance and Traditional Finance in order to make investment decisions and analyzing Capital Market Expectations, essential for all Asset allocation.
 

Module Learning Outcomes
After completing the module students should be able to:
1. Explain the world of Security Valuation.
2. Analyze fundamental principles of security valuation and performance evaluation of fund managers.
3. Manage equity portfolios.
4. Analyze challenges in the world of Security Valuation.
