The aim of the module is to introduce students to econometric theory and techniques.

After completion of the module students should be able to:

  1. Relate the econometric approach to economic theory.
  2. Explain how econometrics are used for testing economic theory and models
  3. Apply econometric models to business scenarios
  4. Analyse economic models
  5. Explain the econometric modelling process in the economic theory.
