Course Description:

This course aims to introduce students into basic concepts regarding the international business setting and apply some core theories into practice. During this course, students will also be able to assess key factors defining the global economy and look at various business environments around the world.   

Course Objectives

The main objectives of the course are:

  1. To provide a comprehensive introduction to the interdisciplinary subject of international business.
  2. To examine the economic and financial underpinnings of international business and the organizational and cultural issues that increasingly vital to a successful business.
  3. To analyse the competitive environment and the strategic view of international business.
  4. To synthesize and apply existing theories across various disciplines.
