Web ProjectModule Details

Module Description
During this module, students will produce a concise, accessible and professional website which incorporates their designs. Students will work independently on this project demonstrating what they have accumulated from the previous modules of this Programme.

Module Aim
This module aims at enhancing students skills of demonstrating their understanding and knowledge of the whole programme curriculum and gives them the opportunity to undertake a web design project that can act as a portfolio piece.

Module Learning Outcomes
After completing the course students should be able to:
1. Implement competently the techniques, skills and knowledge that they have accumulated for web site design and development
2. Produce a paper-based documentation to clarify the background to the design and development approach to the project and their sources of information and inspiration
3. Apply the ability to formulate research questions, evaluate responses and apply these to projects
4. Explain and justify the decisions taken during project development
5. Display an ability to work under pressure and manage time and resources in order to meet deadlines
6. Present work to a professional standard using best-practice techniques and methods
