Module Description
This module will enable students to understand the importance of a user-experience approach to planning and designing websites, covering research, design and evaluation methods. Furthermore, this module covers information architecture, evaluation techniques and project management.
Module Aim
This course aims at imparting students with skills of creating websites that will be more valuable to users and businesses alike and develop practical skills to evaluate websites, analyse and document the needs of stakeholders
Module Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to:
1. Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of user experience design
2. Design and implement dynamic web content
3. Apply strategic problem-solving skills that are highly sought after by employers
4. Evaluate websites and recommend and justify changes
5. Evaluate arguments and evidence, your own work and the work of others
6. Communicate ideas in different formats using a range of media
7. Demonstrate skills in managing sites, project management and costing project development.
